We have been looking for another location for our brick-and-mortar store, The Uncarved Block, for a while. On Thursday, 2/19, we signed a lease on the old chocolate shop at 110 North Main Street in Sebastopol, California. It's located between the Main Street Theater and the music store. The new phone number is 707-829-7625 and we already started the build. We will be fully open for business there on Sunday, 3/1. At least that’s the plan.
During the move we will try to accommodate all who show up at the old store, but, alas, at some time, probably Thursday, 2/26, we will have to shut down to finish all the details so we can open in Sebastopol on Sunday.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but it is a necessity. We get NO walk-in traffic at the current location. We were excited about finding a new place and, while we were there looking talking for 30 minutes (at 7 PM), 18 people stopped to look in and check us out. We are now even more EXCITED about it.
Our storefront area will more than triple in size and we’ll be able to set it up as it should be. We’ll also have room for a shop so Paul can start teaching the lapidary arts again.
